Our Board
Our PAC Board is made up of parents who truly love this school and believe in the power of community. Each member has stepped up to serve because they care deeply about supporting our teachers, encouraging other families, and helping MDS continue to grow and thrive. Together, we’re building something meaningful—rooted in faith, fueled by service, and strengthened by unity.

Our Story
Strength in Unity — Supporting Our School, Together.
The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) was founded in 2022 by our school director, Sarah McCoy, as Methodist Day School began to grow. She recognized a need for a parent-led organization that could help support and strengthen the community forming around our little school. In that first year, a handful of dedicated parents stepped up, pouring their energy into making teachers feel appreciated and creating moments of joy and connection—like unforgettable Moms’ Night Outs. Their efforts planted the seeds for something lasting.

As the second year unfolded, it became clear that the PAC could be more than a support group—it could be a bridge. A bridge between families, a way to build community, and a place where parents could truly feel connected to the heartbeat of the school. At the same time, Sarah saw that as she poured her energy into growing MDS, the PAC needed parents who could fully take the reins. So, in a pivotal and trusting move, she passed the torch to the parents who had already shown such heart.

In 2024, the PAC entered a new season—one shaped by parents. We began to lay a stronger foundation: improving communication among families, increasing transparency, boosting fundraising efforts, and expanding community outreach initiatives. We’ve learned so much through this process, and we’re committed to carrying those lessons forward into the future.

We are deeply thankful to the school, the church, and the incredible parents who continue to support this mission. The PAC exists not just to serve, but to invite. If you're a parent at MDS, you belong here—and we invite you to be part of what we’re building.

Guided by our Christian faith and the belief in "Strength in Unity," we are working together to create a nurturing environment where every family feels seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” – Hebrews 10:24–25
